A typically Spanish house in the old white pueblo and just below Salobreña Castle, offering a unique holiday experience.

You will be living the Andalusian lifestyle in this village house, your neighbours don't speak English so it would be a good idea to begin learning a few words of Spanish before you come.

You will be made to feel welcome and very much at home from the moment you arrive - Andalucians are famous for their hospitality.

The house has been totally reformed in sympathy with it's surroundings although creature comforts have not been ignored. There are two comfortable bedrooms both with air conditioning - 1 twin and a double, plus a sofa bed on the first floor mezzanine. The sofa bed can sleep two.

On the second level is the summer kitchen / utility room housing washing machine and the gas barbecue. From the summer kitchen you step onto the terrace and then up a further flight of stairs to the secluded sun bathing area. There are spectacular views in every direction from here, to the Mediterranean, along the beach to Motril and to the snow covered peaks of Sierra Nevada ( in winter )

Shopping is easy from the house with a few local shops near by.

In the village shopping centre there is every kind of store you could need including some large supermarkets. There are a couple of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance of the house and again many more down in Salobreña village.

This part of Spain is as interesting as any, with many exciting places to visit by car or on the local bus service which is first class. The Alpujarras made famous in the book "Driving Over Lemons" by Chris Stewart is ten minutes drive and the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort 75 minutes by car.
