The mountain setting is peaceful yet not remote, there is swimming pool, terrace and landscaped gardens. The property is so well appointed right down to the bicycles and fishing rods. You may well want to fish during your visit - the lake is well stocked with Carp and Pike.
There are three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, all of which have fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom is en suite with one further bathroom for the family. In the kitchen are all the appliances you could wish for, including washing machine and dishwasher.
The surrounding area is so peaceful, with long walks through the open countryside into the hills or down to the lake. Shopping is easy in the nearby town of Velez Malaga where there is every kind of small shop plus a modern mall with superstores and multi screen cinema - in English as well as Spanish.
At Vinuela you are in the heart of the Axarquia region which is famous for its' white Andalusian villages such as Comares, Algarrobo, Torrox and Competa. The Ski resort of Sierra Nevada is only 90 minutes drive and an excellent day out for the family whether you ski or not. There is usually snow on the peaks from November until May. Be here if you can in Spring, to see wild flowers long since disappeared in Northern Europe or in February to experience the Almond blossom.
We are only 15 minutes from the excellent Baviera golf course which is open to all, the water sports and beaches of Torre del Mar and the Yachting Marina at Caleta de Velez. There are a few restaurants and bars just a couple of minutes down the road but more to suit every taste and pocket in Velez Malaga.
Vinuela is an all year round holiday destination for the whole family or just to get away from it all.
